Why This Petition Matters

Citizen journalists have documented what they allege is billions of dollars in fraud across California — from healthcare schemes to voter-related fraud to programs where, as one U.S. Attorney put it, the state has become “a fraudster’s paradise.” Whistleblowers allege state leadership knew about massive fraud and failed to act.

What We’re Demanding

We, the undersigned California residents and concerned Americans, call on Attorney General Rob Bonta to:

1. Launch a full investigation into the alleged large-scale fraud schemes documented across California’s state programs.
2. Prosecute individuals and organizations found to have defrauded taxpayers, to the fullest extent of the law.
3. Cut off state funds to any program, contractor, or organization found to be engaged in fraud — immediately, not after years of study.
4. Publish a public audit showing Californians exactly where their money went and what is being done to recover it.
