Benny Johnson Alleges: Ilhan Omar Mass Deleting Evidence of Immigration Fraud

According to Johnson, official DOJ and immigration enforcement documents reference Omar using the name “Ilhan Nur Said Elmei.” Johnson alleges this is significant because “Nur Said Elme” is allegedly the name of her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elme, whom he claims Omar married in a secular ceremony. Johnson asserts that Omar allegedly remained living with the father of her biological children while married to her brother, which he characterizes as fraudulent.

Johnson presents what he claims is a marriage certificate from Omar’s sister listing “Nurse Said Elme” as her father and identifying him as a military officer, suggesting this is the family name and establishing familial relationships. He then cites a deleted Father’s Day social media post from Omar that reportedly read, “Happy Father’s Day to my father Nur Said I am forever grateful to Allah for giving me the best father.” According to Johnson, Omar deleted this post on September 19, 2019, the morning she was headed to Congress.

Benny Johnson alleges that a federal search warrant motion filed in US District Court referenced Omar as “Nur Said Elme Abdalani Omar,” and he claims this establishes she used a false identity—which he characterizes as criminal. Johnson notes that Somali names typically consist of a person’s given name, their father’s given name, and their paternal grandfather’s given name.

Johnson also presents screenshots of allegedly deleted Instagram posts featuring her brother referencing Omar’s children as “nieces fresh out of the vagina,” which Johnson interprets as evidence of their familial relationship. He claims that Ahmed Nur Said Elme disappeared after being questioned about the allegedly fraudulent marriage and was never seen again.

In the video, Johnson contends that Omar has systematically deleted social media evidence and locked her posts to prevent public comment, which he interprets as consciousness of guilt. He asserts that internet archivists captured screenshots before deletion. When Johnson references Omar being asked about her name in an interview, she allegedly responded “Not to my knowledge” regarding whether she married her brother.

Johnson also discusses a recent social media video posted by Omar that he claims contains violent imagery and lyrics, which he interprets as threatening language. He concludes by calling for deportation proceedings.

Why this matters: These allegations, if substantiated, would constitute serious federal crimes including immigration fraud and marriage fraud. Omar has previously denied these allegations.
